The National Service Learning-Conference is the one of the largest conferences, with youths and practitioners from the service-learning movement — it includes nearly 3,000 people from all 50 states and up to 41 other countries. Jusoor Arabiya, a consultancy center in conjunction with the Education Development Center will bring together top youth leaders from Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates to speak on a panel at the conference.

Through their panel presentations, one-on-one dialogue and meetings with the media, these youth leaders will help bridge the knowledge and opinions gap of Arab and Moslem culture among the other participants in the positive setting of the conference and global forum. These youth leaders will return to their countries with new insights, knowledge and networks that will support their aspirations to work for a better Arab world.

National Industries Group (Holding) was established in 1960 under the name of National Industries Company (NIC) by virtue of the Commercial Companies Law in the State of Kuwait with 51% of shares owned by Kuwait Government and 49% owned by the private sector. Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) is a private, non-profit organization, established by an Amiri Decree issued on December, 12th 1976 (Thul-Hijjah, 21st 1396 AH). KFAS is managed and administered by a Board of Directors (BOD), chaired by H.H. the Amir of the State of Kuwait. The board consists of six members selected  by H.H The Amir to serve for a period of three years. KFAS receives financial contributions by the Kuwaiti Shareholding Companies, amounting to 1% of the net annual profit.
